Bio
Dr. Reed, a native of Virginia Beach, earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA, in 2001 after receiving her bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA, in 1997. She completed her internship and residency at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Reed earned a breast fellowship at the Ann Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD, in 2006. As a dedicated surgeon who is fellowship-trained in breast surgery procedures, Dr. Reed focuses entirely on diagnosing, evaluating, treating, and managing benign and malignant breast disease. She is sensitive to the emotions and concerns of her patients. She is committed to helping them make informed choices for their care by providing information and health education specific to her patient’s health issues.
